This Delahaye belonged to Lucienne Dhotelle , better known by his stage name, kid Sparrow , famous singer of the thirties and rival Edith Piaf.
The kid ordered the Delahaye at the end 1938 and was approved in early 1939 after doing carrosser by the famous Figoni & Falaschi .
The car carries the number 60173 and its reference frame manufacturing Figoni FIFA is 727.
It is a four-seater convertible three positions - closed canopy , open and half-open . It retracts fully in the trunk . Disappearing completely from view, it thus contributes to the elegance of the silhouette of a body also avant-garde for its time.
Consists of two parts , the windshield can be folded . But right position , it is placed so close to the wheel that has been scratched the driver's side . It is said that it is the fabulous jewelry kid Sparrow which would cause damage ...
The kid gets the Sparrow Delahaye after the war, she spent in Puerto Rico . The car then undergoes a series of changes and a complete restoration . New paint retain duotone , but in brighter greens authorizes this bodystyle .
