Chromes Chro48 1/43 Bugatti T46S Reinboldt & Christie Cabriolet 46525 1929
Bugatti introduced the Type 46 in 1929, with its 5.3-liter engine and a 3505mm long wheelbase, the car was the competitor of Hispano-Suiza and other Delage of the time. A reduced version of the famous Royale, the Type 46 shares many of the features of its predecessor.
This car was purchased completely disassembled, and it took 14 years to restore it to its former glory. Most of this time was spent tracking down various mechanical and electrical components. The car is considered the only remaining Type 46S.
It is a great sport cabriolet Open Salon (sedan or discoverable) Type 46S compressor, chassis No. 46525 built by the coachbuilder Reinboldt & Christie, Bâle (Switzerland).
