Chromes Chro49 1/43 Delahaye 135 MS Coupé Langenthal 1947 sn800490
Little-known, Swiss coachbuilder Langenthal would dressed two Delahaye chassis. The MS 135 received was originally a convertible with wings "Teardrop" (drop) and a two-tone finish. After the original owner complained of wind noise in the hood, Langenthal created a removable hardtop. Because of its size, the roof was very heavy, so soon after he was permanently fixed to the car, turning the convertible coupe which remained in the same family for many years. It was eventually sold to an American amateur.
Among the owners collector Gordon Apker, who gave his first public appearances this Delahaye. Chassis 800490 was sold in 2013 to Amelia Island sale by RM Auctions for $ 330,000
