1/43 Delahaye 135 Cabriolet
Figoni & falaschi 1948
"El Glaoui" sn800954
All the great coachbuilders of this era have dressed Delahaye chassis.
This type 135 Drophead with convertible 3 position top is the work of Figoni et Falaschi.
Nicknamed "El Glaoui" because a copy was commissioned by Prince Glaoui of Morocco, the bodywork design was used on multiple chassis with some details of variants.
On this one we note bumpers on two levels, the typical radiator grille used after the war, the central lighthouse on the rear trunk, the array of buttons panel and basic interior cranks doors match the body color ...
A copy of this model was presented in Paris, Brussels, Geneva and London auto shows, where it was admired and coveted by all the high dignitaries of these years.
