Fitted with a Gangloff-built Cabriolet body, this Type 57 C was delivered new to a French customer in 1939.

It was later sold to Switzerland, where it was fitted with a Coupe body by local specialists Graber.

In this guise, it was raced immediately after the War.

After spending most of its life in Switzerland, it was acquired by a prominent American collector.

He had the car restored to its original configuration.
