This is one of the finest surviving S-Types, an exceedingly rare pre-war Mercedes-Benz.
This 1927 Sindelfingen-bodied Sportwagen is the car Rudolf Caracciola won the “Eröffnungsrennen des Nürburgrings” with on 18th June 1927.
The car has start number 1, number 2 was Adolf Rosenberger with an S as well, number 3 von Mosch with a K model.
the combination of black and white colors highlights the purity of its lines.
A wonderful model that will delight collectors of Mercedes, or cars that have marked the history of the automobile.
